New Travel Scrapbooking Pack, New Rad Dad Templates and Freebies

Welcome to The Cherry on Top.

We've had one heck of a busy week so far.  Traditional Tuesday has more, new 52 Reasons Why I Love You cards and links for freeFather's Day printables and ideas to inspire you for the upcoming day.  Today, we have TWO new releases.  New templates and a great add on pack to our Au Naturel kit.  We've got our typical freebies from us and other designers around DigiLand, too.  Enjoy!

I used our new travel pack that coordinates with Au Naturel for your free calendar for June.  This pack has many items that will work perfect for your travel, vacation or city trip pics you want to scrap and there's a vintage touch to the pack as well.

Cameras, clock, vintage travel ephemera, stamps, luggage, slide, coins, compass, map and travel themed papers.  You can see by the preview that they coordinate perfectly with Au Naturel. The add on is only 1.99.
Last week I gave readers these free coordinating flowers.  They'll go perfectly.  I dig the slightly masculine touch, too.

There is also a free, beautiful word artto tie everything together.  Your pages are going to be so gorgeous.  I've designed this entire collection for a custom scrapbooking album I'm making for a client.  If you are interested in a custom album, give us a shout at We've got example pages on the site under Custom Gallery.

Let's see a couple of pages from the team.

Rachelle mixed up both packs for this page.

I just had to design some Dad's Day templates for you.  I know it's tough not doing flowers on your manly pages.  Personally, I use flowers no matter what, but I often try to challenge myself and leave them out on my masculine layouts.  I know there are many Scrappy Sisters that do not use flowers on pages with guys and they are often stumped by this limitation.  I've got a pack of Manly templates in the shop and thought I'd add another.

Of course you can use these templates for any theme.  Change out the letters or get rid of them entirely and you can scrap any photos.  That is exactly what I've done.  I'm in the middle of another custom order and I used these templates for a few of the pages.  I've used my own pictures. Here they are.

I used our stunning kit, Revel In Retrofor these pages.  This was a 50 year anniversary party for my lovely in-laws.  I am not pictured dancing here.  Hehehe...I don't dance!  At home only.

Here are the pages from my team.

Which one is your favorite?!  I do love the large lettered one and I like the uniqueness and customizability of this last one.  I also dig the pages with multiple photo spots.  When you want to print an album, those pages can start to add up.  So multiple photo spots can save you some cash-o-la.
Some alternative types of elements that you can use on your manly pages are metal bits, hardware, mesh, wire, circles, leather, string, paint splat, brads and buttons, wood always looks great, sporty types of elements...
This is my other pack of templates from the shop.  I used nifty goodies from Kim Cameron Designs.  You can find them in her shop, Daisies and Dimples.

Speaking of Kim Cameron, she's been busting our booties with kits releasing, today.  Let's check those out.
Flaming Bay is such an awesome kit and Kim's made a really cool coordinating template that will be free at the Digital Scrapbooking Studioon the 9th in a chat.  You won't want to miss that one.  I used it two different ways.

See how creative you can get with it?

I'm all over fun, tropical kits like this.  I do love all of the fancy drinks and there are so many flamingos in here, too.  Check it out by clicking on any of the images.  This bottom one uses my free template I'm giving away to newsletter subscribers. I'm giving away four of them, all summer long.  If you miss one, don't worry, I'll be posting the links over and over until September.

Kim also has two fantastic kits that coordinate with one another to make an even more fabulous, huge collection of scrapbooking awesomeness.  Hehehe...But for REAL!  Sizzling Summer and Sizzling Summer Nights is just way too much fun.  I used the "day" pack above.  How perfect for bbq's and family picnics or Dad's day ideas.
Below is the night version.  I'm so terrible at taking night or even dusk pictures.  As you can  see you don't need to have night pictures to use it.  I really, really love my page.  My guys in Germany, playing in the Mosel River nestled between the mountains.  I used Kim's grunge styled edges and several other stamps and splat.  Way too, fun!!!

I just had to show off Rae's beautiful page using our templates from last week, Floral Fantasy.  It is exquisite and I'm sure the goodies come from the Sweet Shoppe.

Aimee Harrison has a collection that will blend magically with our Rad Dad templates.  I used the basis of my page fortomorrow's freebiefor Hybrid Saturday.  With just a few changes, I turned this page into a card.  Come back tomorrow and download it for free. Father Dear has absolutely everything you need for your pages dedicated to dad.  We celebrate Dad this weekend, so I wanted to have something ready before then.  You've got plenty of time to print, cut and have something nice for your dear dad.

Robyn has a lovely coordinating freebie for her newsletter subscribers.  I know she often has freebies on her blog, too.  The image is linked up to where you can sign up.

Scrap from France is also doing a train of freebies.  Check it out!

Here's another great freebie source!  My gal Andrea and I are big fans.

Scrappy Sister Ednara sent me a few links to some of her favorite places she likes to find digital freebies. Creative Fabrica and the Daily Art Hub.  My go to spots are Design Cuts and Creative Market.

Oh!  I nearly forgot!  Also on tomorrow's blog we are taking part in the Love For Layout Templates, again and I have to tell you...the templates this round are really, really awesome.  Do NOT miss them. Mine is going to be fantastic for any pic, but especially for boys and or masculine shots you want to scrap.

Thank you for stopping by The Cherry and as always, Happy Scrapping!
