Scrapbook Challenge #12 You Won't Want to Miss Join The Cherry's Scrap-A-Thon It's Not Too Late

Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

We are rolling into Challenge #12. More than half way through. Whoo hoo! This challenge is a really...interesting challenge, I find. It's the Monochrome Challenge. That's where you use all similar colors. Don't worry. I've got page inspiration for you. You may use ANY KIT and ANY TEMPLATE for this challenge.

Love Your Selfie Templates

See all the shades of purple above and green, below? These two scrapbook pages are great examples of a monochromatic look.

Strip Tease Templates

Strip Tease Templates

Remember this pretty page I made for my niece's wedding album? This is a really good example of monochrome.

You could go all black, all white...These are monochromatic color palette examples.

If you've got a nice large digital scrapbook collection, grab those colors that are similar. You can add a touch of white or one or two other colors, but most of your page needs to have that one color that you're using again and again.

Get that page in the album in our group or share it in my forum post at Design Bundles. Speaking of Design Bundles, have you used your FREE one month Gold Membership yet? One of our scrappy sisters said that she used all of her points already and valued her download at over $500?! Holy, cow!!!

I've stuffed Plus full of fabulous scrapbooking designs, papers, elements, paper crafts and of course, templates. Type in scrapbooking and whatever subject or theme you are looking for. For example, type in Country Scrapbooking and our Country Collection should pop up. Here are a few design from that collection.

Scrapbook quickly with clusters that are all made for you.

These papers and much of the collection are ideal for masculine cards and scrapbook pages.

Scrap fast and beautifully with our goodies in Plus.

The next challenge is going to be tough!!! The above goodies will be a huge help. Hint, hint!

Thanks for stopping by the blog. I can't wait to see your pages.

Happy scrapping!

Love For Layout Templates Blog Train, Valentines Exploding Box Card and Other Fantastic Scrapbooking Inspiration

Welcome to The Cherry On Top, Crafters!

Today, I'm showing off a bit of the newest designs I've put in Plus at Design Bundles. I've got a little bit of page inspiration. There's a sneak peak and new goodies from Clever Monkey Graphics and of course...your free template from the blog train as well as a freebie from the last blog.

Come on and dive right in with me!

SURPRISE! I've asked Ginger to open my shop. It really bothered me having thousands of links that didn't go anywhere. Though I won't be adding more new templates at this time, you can totally go in and purchase my templates there, again. Isn't that awesome?! All of the moo-lah will go to GingerScraps.

So, yes! I'm getting glue on my fingers, again. I've been wanting to design an exploding box card for years and this time, it all fell right into place. Whoo hoo! The people at Design Bundles loved it so much, they sent me an e-mail. Wow! Needless to say, I've a very long list of more similar projects like this one as well as mini album ideas that all can be done hybrid style.

If you pop over to the product description at Design Bundles Plus, you'll see an entire tutorial of how to easily put this baby together. Seriously, you can have this entire project done in under 30 minutes and it is SO cute.

There are endless ways to change it up. I used goodies from my Valentine Collection at Plus. It coordinates magically.

First, I designed an entire collection for cats and now we are on to dogs. What pet series would you like next? I'm thinking chickens. Y'all know, I just love my girls. Here are just a few of the items. There are even more in Plus.

Journal Cards

Stickers

These are separate in Plus.

Theresa scrapped it up wonderfully.

I'm having so much fun designing paper packs for Plus. I've got three new ones this week and these are from last week.

I Love My Dog Papers 2

Above is a more whimsical set of papers. Whilst below, is more artistic. I hope I've included your doggy somewhere in this series.

I Love my Dog Papers 1

I thought this time of year is a great time to show our appreciation to our healthcare workers. I designed a paper pack as well as some really cute word art.

Healthcare Papers

See how easy it is to scrap with just the papers and word art?!

I'm still designing templates and though it was going slow, the pace is picking up and more and more people are getting my templates. Yay! A big shout of thanks if you have been a part of that.

So Pretty Templates

Layered Squares Templates and a gorgeous collaboration with Key Lime Digi Design.

Hexagons Template

Split Image Template and a gorgeous template at our place on the Mosel River in Germany.

Here's another attempt at a template/light box. Theresa made a few lovely pages. The light box does not have the photo layer, obviously.

More scrap-a-licious hands on scrapping is waiting for you. Since my Baby Boy Collection sold more than the Baby Girl Collection, I did the baby boy mini scrapbook first. Next week, the girl version will be in. Y'all won't believe how insanely easy this thing is to put together.

Baby Boy Mini Scrapbook

Here's a look at my new paper pack, Hearts Patterns. A little intense. A little playful and a touch dramatic. Sound familiar?

Hearts Patterns

Farmhouse Valentine from Clever Monkey Graphics matched perfectly and it is such a cute collection.

Speaking of Clever Monkey Graphics. Tracey has a new kit out this week. I scrapped it up with an upcoming template idea I'm putting in Plus next week. Can ya guess the theme?

Nothing like a little bevel and some great shadows to lift your page.

Here's last week's freebie.

Here's your free template, hoppers. Thanks so much for stopping by The Cherry. Feel free and scroll back through hundreds, that's right! Hundreds of freebies on the blog. This blog has been around for nearly 10 years and I try to leave my freebies for as long as I can. So enjoy and come on back for more inspiration.

I was super late with my page and I'm the last stop. Pop over to our group to show off your work and get a list for more stops if you need.

I apologize for leaving such a simple template. I think it is super versatile. Shrink it down and make a super cute frame if you like. It'll also make a wonderful card. It's my birthday next week. The big 50! We all had Covid back in November and though my symptoms were not bad at all, it sucked away all of my strength and stamina and now I've got some other illness. To think I wasn't sick for years! I'm super pooped! Thanks for putting up with all of my crap! Hehehe...

I hope you stay healthy and that you'll join our group for more scrap-a-licious shenanigans.

Christmas and Halloween Scrapbooking with Page Inspiration and Awesome Holiday New Goodies

Welcome to The Cherry On Top, enthusiastic scrapbookers.

Today's blog is full, full, full of new scrapbooking items in Plus and Kreative Design Studio. It's full, full, full of pretty page layout inspiration to get your creative juices flowing. We're going to just diver right in and run you through some of the newer items I've designed. I'm putting 15 products, weekly in Plus and trying to get a products in Kreative Design Studio every week as well. Shooo wee....that is a lot of designing!

quick pages, stickers, papers, elements, clusters

So I found these adorable penguins in Plus and just had to design a fun winter themed pack of crafting and scrapbooking goodies. I've got about a dozen papers that coordinate, a fun sticker sheet that'll be perfect for your holiday crafts and gift giving. There are some cool elements in the form of arabesque ornaments, journal cards a few clusters for further decoration and design. The journal cards and ornaments will make great tags or even ornaments for your tree. Mix and match them all for some serious flexibility and scrap-a-licious and crafting fun!

I've put together some festive, flamingo fun designs that coordinate perfectly with our Flamazing collection found in Kreative Design Studio. Again, there are papers, word art that'll be ideal for sublimation projects, stickers, tags...type in Flamazing in the Plus search and grab all of the packs. Grab coordinating templates and more in Kreative Design Studio. Both of the packs of templates are amazing. No they are, Flamazing!

Match up the Desktop Templates with Flamazing and design super fun and whimsical page layouts.

You can scrap really fast and beautifully with clusters and a few papers.

Plus peeps are digging my Farmhouse Santa Kit! Thanks so much if you are a part of that. It's got a sweet vintage vibe with a versatile set of word art, clusters, elements and it really is perfect for crafters and scrapbookers. You can whip up scrapbook layouts, cards, Christmas tags, stickers and sublimation projects in minutes. Just look at those country style plaid papers! I love them!

Similar to the style of Farmhouse Santa is the Holiday Designs pack. I've got a glittery hint for festive fab and a more whimsical approach in its design. I've got an image with some ideas on how to use it. Again, design cards, tags, scrapbook layouts...in minutes.

Here are just a few designer resources I've put in Plus. For just one credit, you've got very useful items that you can use personally or for Commercial Use. Typically, I give a few examples in the packs. So you get the design that you can use over and over, any way you like and you get a few, texture rich design papers, too.

I LOVE edges! Painted, brushed...it's all good. Since I've designed so many for my own designs, I'm putting them in Plus for y'all to use, too. Edges really make a paper look polished and finished. They are a super way to give a feel of texture and introduce other colors to your design in a more subtle manner. Give them a try and if you love them, look out for more.

My most popular item this week are these tag templates. I use tags over and over and thought I'd also share these. I'm also giving this page of tags in the template pack, too. I've provided a one page psd format, a jpg format, a png page format AND hehehe....each tag, singularly in png format. Not bad for one credit!

It took me all night to design these Skulls papers, but man they are so COOL! Gothic and not just for Halloween either!

Theresa has played with the Adventure template and our Halloween kit. Whoo hoo! What fabulous pages! I've got an entire Halloween kit in my shop as well as coordinating ultra fabulous papers in Plus. Together they make one heck of a stunning collection. Here are the skull papers and here is the other design pack.
