Free Pokemon Door Hanger from The Cherry On Top

Welcome to The Cherry On Top's, Hybrid Saturday.

My kids are gaming fanatics and I can imagine that you might know some as well. My boys get so excited when I design them game oriented goodies. I've done plenty so far and I always share here them here, on the blog. I've got a few linked up so you can join on the gaming rage with The Cherry.

Check out some previous posts, get the new freebie and GAME ON!

Go, Cath'em All from MagsGraphic Designs is definitely an ideal kit for the Pokemon fans. You can use these digital kits for more than just scrapbooking. Make all kinds of printables in any way you like. Invitations, labels, tags, party supplies, banners...There are so many things you can do with digital scrapbooking kits beside typical pages. I blogged about that just a bit ago. Click here to see some ideas of what I mean.

Here's your free door hanger. I designed it all just from basic shapes by merging, clipping, distorting, etc. Right click and save the image to your downloads. Remember, all of our goodies are for Personal Use ONLY. I totally recommend printing on rigid paper. Consider laminating if you think the recipient could use the extra reinforcement. Hehehe...It will help keep it water resistant as well.

There are several ways to neatly cut the hole out. Use a large circle punch if you have one in your stash. Score an "X" in the middle of the circle to get started and then cut from the centre. I often make a cut on the outside of the door hanger, into the centre of the circle, cut around the circle then tape over the cut if necessary.

Check out some of our other game related printables and such...

I made this piñata completely for free (just the toys inside). Find out how by clicking on the image.

Get this book marker for free.

This is also free.

Here's a blog on how to organise all of these blocks and such.

Find out how to make this really awesome gift card, money holder.

These are fun Nerf targets for mini cans and on the doors. I was hoping the kids would go for these instead of each other. My youngest really hates being the target and the animals are not fond either.

Here are a few of our recent freebies.

A lovely frame cluster.

Some pretty word art.

Our newest free template.

Thanks so much for doing us at The Cherry. We'll be back next week with more freebies with dad as our inspiration. Ya won't wanna miss!

Freebie Friday, New Templates and Amazing Scrapbooking Inspiration

Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

Boy, have I got a great blog for you, today. It's full of pretty fabulous scrapbooking inspiration, new releases from some of your favourite designers and of course, a few freebies from The Cherry and others around DigiLand and I've got a tease at tomorrow's theme for Hybrid Saturday.

Let's dive into all of this scrappy goodness!

Big Blue Kit and Just You and Me Template from Kim Cameron Designs

I'm just loving Kim Cameron's newest releases, Big Blue. The colours are so great and how about these adorable turtles?

Above, I used one of Kim's templates, too. I changed it up quite a bit, but that's what templates are all about. Customising for the perfect page. Just You and Me template can be found here.

Big blue Kit and Lissy Kay's Lots of Layers templates

I used Big Blue again and paired it up with a template from Lissy Kay Designs. That's my boys having a blast last summer.

I see Maggie's got a freebie on her blog. Click on the image and go download it. Then grab her nifty collection.

Here are our brand new templates. I just put them in the shop. You can find tif, psd and png formats. I always have Page format, but you have to request those. The files are enormous for Page and most do not fit Etsy's tiny upload size.

Outline Odyssey Templates

We did a win it before you can buy it in our group. If you don't want to miss out, join us there. Ruth was the winner this time.

Outline Odyssey Templates and XOXO from Made By Keuntje

I really, really loved scrapping this page. It did take me a few different tries until I got the pattern just right with the background. I love all of the purple in Made By Keuntje's kit, XOXO. I keep going back to this kit over and over. It's definitely something you'll want in your stash, too.

Scrapbooking Blog Train of Freebies with Leigh Penrod and Friends and The Wish List Winner

Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

If this is your first time here, you are in a for a treat. At The Cherry we are all about inspiration, tutorials, tips, tricks and we just love free scrapbooking goodies, too. This blog is brimming with free digital and hybrid scrapbooking products.

We've got a shop where we sell other digital and printable products and we keep the prices nearer to the bottom of the barrel so that all of our fans can enjoy good quality scrapbooking goodies to display their precious photos, gift give or just to relax and unwind while being creative.

Today's Wish List Winner is Kylie. I've contacted her through the shop. Thanks for liking our store and hearting your favourite items!

I only took a couple of the colours for today's free template. Keep reading to see some pages for inspiration. I've got a look at some of our templates in Kreative Design Studio and a preview of a previous, free template.

This template is no longer available, but can be found at Kreative Design Studio with a set of three other templates for just ,99 cents!

I've kept this month's template mega simple, but boy is it versatile! Consider changing the direction of the template if you like.

Change it all around and upside down...

or just change it horizontally. Any way you like. Of course you don't have to even use the travel pieces if they won't work on your page.

Look how I did my page. I used the travel pieces, word art and mixed it with a kit.

Kim Cameron Designs, The Light House Keeper

You can always put in your own title that might be more appropriate. You could also turn all of those square into more photos if you have a lot of photos you want to show off on one page. Another option is stretching the top square down to the bottom and insert just one long photo or paper.

I told you it was versatile!

Made By Keuntje, Around The World

My gal Dana from Made By Keuntje made this page with the template. She used mostly pictures and put a background paper in one of the squares to show off a pretty cluster. This is her kit, Around The World.

Freebie

If you are all about the free templates, then you better start following us here and join our group so that you never miss out on all of the free ones. I recently started a win it before you buy it in our group where you can win a pack of templates before they even go in the shop. I do a few hops that you don't want to miss because that's where you can get more free ones and I post free digital scrapbooking links nearly every single day on my page and in my group. Pinterest is also a hot spot of ours. Friday's are always full of FREEBIES and often I include a free hybrid for Hybrid Saturday.

Here's a look at some of our newer templates in the shop.

Man In Mind Templates

With Father's Day around the corner, dad might really love a page dedicated just to him or maybe with him being a dad. Of course, you can use the basis of any of our templates and ignore the theme entirely. It's just there to inspire you or perhaps give you ideas when you are falling short of the mojo. These templates have NO FLOWERS. Can you believe it?! How dare I?! I know there are quite a few scrappy sisters who never put flowers on manly pages and this is great for them and for you.

Elements in a template are never the determining factor for me purchasing the pack. I only really look at the basis of the template. I want it to be versatile so I can keep using it.

See what we did with the templates.

Kim Cameron Designs, Bad To The Bone

I know a lot of dads who wouldn't mind a mini album showing off their favourite man toys and these templates really are perfect for that. You could always canvas your pages, turn them into cards or calendars....

I'll be blogging up a Dad's Day edition to give you ideas.

Men In Mind Templates

If you like the pages, but don't find the time to scrap them, simply put in the photo you want and you've scrapped. These make pretty good quick pages as well.
