New Freebies, New Templates, Scrap-A-Licious Inspiration and a Call For Help

Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

As usual, I've got new goodies in the shop, beautiful inspiration in the form of page layouts from myself and my fabulous creative team and I've got new freebies for you this week, too.  At the end of the blog, I share some information about last week's blog and tomorrow's as well.  So read through and ya won't miss a beat.

 Creative Beast Templates

If you're into an artistic touch and even if you're not, these templates will still make an excellent addition to your digital stash.  I was looking for pages with a more artistic flair to them and my team came up with some pretty traditional looking stuff!  Hehehe...It's all about your take on the template and what you like and perhaps the kind of kit your using, too.

We even mixed up a few of the templates to come out with pages like this one!  How cool is that?!  Think about mixing your templates for an even more unique look.

That's me and my mane and that awesome free collection from the DigiScrap Parade, Bold.  I mixed two of the new templates for my page.  Check out what some of the other ladies from our challenge group did.

Hilary used our new kit, Pretty As A Peacock for her pages.

How fab is Dana's page with her kit, Simplicity?!  This is a really popular kit and I can see why.  Is it in your stash?

Jodi made magic with her page and kit, Winter Is Here.  So beautiful!

Rachelle matched up the templates with a pretty kit that might look familiar to you.  It is Winter Woods from Kim Cameron Designs.  I showed off some pages last week with it.  See how traditional it is!  I'm featuring Kim tomorrow!  If you are a fan, you'll definitely wanna come back.

I hope you've been seeing this preview around DigiLand.  I designed it along with two of the templates in the pack.  Scrappy Sisters are the group of The Cherry, Throwing Some Scraps Around and Made By Keuntje.  One of our friends and Creative Team members was in a terrible accident and will spend months in the hospital, far from her family.  We are raising money to get her a lap top so she can keep in touch and get some good ole scrap therapy to help her get through this very difficult time.

This is an amazing deal!  6 stunning templates for just $4!  Hop on over to either of our shops and help us help our friend?  She's being unbelievably optimistic about it all despite the fact, she may never walk again.  Can you just imagine?!  It saddens me so much to think of her and I feel like I just have to do something to help.

THANKS FOR ALL WHO CHIPPED IN.  MY TWO TEMPLATES HAVE BEEN REPACKAGED WITH TWO OTHERS AND PUT IN OUR KREATIVE DESIGN STUDIO.

Here are some pages from me.

I used Dana's kit, Oh, Snap for this one.  Bam!  This kit is a riot!  You have to jump over there to her shop and check it out.  It's all about Snap Chat.

I used my own collection, Trolla Bolla for two of my pages.  It just seemed fitting.

I also played with Jodi's template and used those gorgeous freebies I showed you last week from Scrapaneers.

How about those new freebies?!  This first one is for newsletter recipients.  Are you seriously still not signed up?!  I don't fill your in box with daily stuff.  Just once a week. I keep them very brief and try my best to put free stuff in there, nearly every time.  It's a great way to keep up with us and you won't miss out on awesome free stuff.

This is today's freebie.  Both of them coordinate with our new kit, Pretty As Peacock.  I'd love for you to add it to your digital downloads.  It's full of grace, class and elegance, unlike myself.  Hehehe...

Free Printable Tag from The Cherry On Top and Aimee Harrison Designs

Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

We are back with our Saturday Hybrid series.  I've got my gal Aimee Harrison in the spotlight, yet again.  Her designs are just so gorgeous I can't resist.  I bet you can't either.

I've got her newest collection, Mid Winter Chill in preview, on a scrapbooking page and in the form of a nifty gifty.  A free, printable tag.  This will be so cute to hang on a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate.  Use as a way to say thank you by hanging on a gift or gift card.  It's a sweet and warm way to show your appreciation.

You can click here or on the image for the freebie.

This collection is so HUGE!  If you really want to treat yourself, then this kit is perfect.  The colours are so great.  Hot and cold!  Hehehe... I could not believe all of the elements in this collection.  You will be amazed and pleased as punch or perhaps mulled wine?  Hehehe...

That's me and my oldest playing in the rare snow fall.  Look at all of the embellishments in my super cluster.  Aren't they so fab?

Here's a peep at the ellies.  Just look at them all!

Here is the entire collection at a glance.

If you're new to Aimee Harrison's designs, pop over to one of her stores like, the Digital Scrapbooking Studio and check out her gorgeous goodies.  You'll be glad ya did!

I used my Coffee Cup templates to design this tag.  You can grab them in the shop.  Make a tag like this one, in any size, with your favourite digital or traditional goodies.  You can also design a card.  I've given layers to provide you with pockets for inside to hold a gift card or money.

You can easily print out the template because it is all on one sheet.  Then, you can trace around and scrap this up traditionally.  Easy, right?

New Scrapbooking Templates and So Many Freebies

Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

We are right back on schedule with new seasonal templates, a free template that was offered in our sassy, fun group on Facebook and I've got several links to freebies around DigiLand.

I'm so glad you're here!  Let's dive right in there with another fun filled, inspirational, scrap-a-licious blog.

I've mixed up this pack of templates so you can scrap up all kinds of pages.  You could always use the templates and or its elements as a reference for excellent balance, placement and shadowing for the perfect page.

Here are a few of my pages with the new templates and Kim Cameron's new kit, Winter Woods.

I do not mean to toot my own horn, but these pages were scrapped up so fast and easily.  I believe it can be attributed to my templates and Kim's fabulous kit.  Those trees!  How perfect for in the snow globe.

This is another kit from Kim Cameron, Stay Frosty.  Last time I looked there was a coordinating mini kit for FREE at the Digital Scrapbooking Studio.  Why not see if it is still there?

Here are the pages from my lovely Creative Team using the new templates.

As you can see, you don't even have to have a theme.  Scrap up any kind of pics with our templates.

If you grabbed our free calendar, then you've seen the goodies from our newest scrapbooking kit, Pretty As A Peacock.  Check out what we've designed with it!  Don't forget, the elements are sold separately from the papers.

These first couple of pages are mine.  Remember this template?

 Flourish Templates from TCOT

This is a shot from our village in Germany.  Overlooking the Mosel River and an old...an old..abbey or convent.  I forgot!  Hehehe...

I had no idea what I wanted to do with that ornate peacock.  This is what I did with it.

Jodi is showing off her new templates.  What a beautiful page.

Let's roll on to those fabulous freebies!

This is our newest, free template.  You can find it in our group on Facebook.

Made By Keuntje also has some really awesome, FREE templates in her group, too.  Click on the preview to get there and get them while you can!

This is what I scrapped up with them!

Our nifty challenge group has moved to a forum.  You can get there by clicking on the image below.  There you will find a boat load of challenges.  My challenge is the Mash Up Challenge, again.  I used my Shabby Chic templates.  You'll get two templates for FREE.

This is my Mash Up using Pretty As A Peacock.

Not enough freebies?  OK!  How about this free quick page from Aimee Harrison?

I scrapped up this page using Aimee's really fun, chilly kit, All Bundled Up.  I just love these colours, don't you?  The whimsical embellishments are great, too.  The template is from You Lift Me Up, released last week.  Did ya miss those?

Aimee also has a coordinating freebie from All Bundled Up.  Simply click on the preview to get to her blog.

What?!  Still not enough free stuff?!  Hehehe...Well, check out these...
