Love For Layout Templates Blog Train, Valentines Exploding Box Card and Other Fantastic Scrapbooking Inspiration

Welcome to The Cherry On Top, Crafters!

Today, I'm showing off a bit of the newest designs I've put in Plus at Design Bundles.  I've got a little bit of page inspiration.  There's a sneak peak and new goodies from Clever Monkey Graphics and of course...your free template from the blog train as well as a freebie from the last blog.

Come on and dive right in with me!

SURPRISE!  I've asked Ginger to open my shop.  It really bothered me having thousands of links that didn't go anywhere.  Though I won't be adding more new templates at this time, you can totally go in and purchase my templates there, again. Isn't that awesome?!  All of the moo-lah will go to GingerScraps.

So, yes!  I'm getting glue on my fingers, again.  I've been wanting to design an exploding box card for years and this time, it all fell right into place.  Whoo hoo!  The people at Design Bundles loved it so much, they sent me an e-mail.  Wow!  Needless to say, I've a very long list of more similar projects like this one as well as mini album ideas that all can be done hybrid style.

If you pop over to the product description at Design Bundles Plus, you'll see an entire tutorial of how to easily put this baby together.  Seriously, you can have this entire project done in under 30 minutes and it is SO cute.

There are endless ways to change it up.  I used goodies from my Valentine Collection at Plus.  It coordinates magically.

First, I designed an entire collection for cats and now we are on to dogs.  What pet series would you like next?  I'm thinking chickens.  Y'all know, I just love my girls.  Here are just a few of the items.  There are even more in Plus.

Journal Cards

Stickers

These are separate in Plus.

Theresa scrapped it up wonderfully.

I'm having so much fun designing paper packs for Plus.  I've got three new ones this week and these are from last week.

I Love My Dog Papers 2

Above is a more whimsical set of papers.  Whilst below, is more artistic.  I hope I've included your doggy somewhere in this series.

I Love my Dog Papers 1

I thought this time of year is a great time to show our appreciation to our healthcare workers.  I designed a paper pack as well as some really cute word art.

Healthcare Papers

See how easy it is to scrap with just the papers and word art?!

I'm still designing templates and though it was going slow, the pace is picking up and more and more people are getting my templates.  Yay!  A big shout of thanks if you have been a part of that.

So Pretty Templates

Layered Squares Templates and a gorgeous collaboration with Key Lime Digi Design.

Hexagons Template

Split Image Template and a gorgeous template at our place on the Mosel River in Germany.

Here's another attempt at a template/light box.  Theresa made a few lovely pages.  The light box does not have the photo layer, obviously.

More scrap-a-licious hands on scrapping is waiting for you.  Since my Baby Boy Collection sold more than the Baby Girl Collection, I did the baby boy mini scrapbook first.  Next week, the girl version will be in.  Y'all won't believe how insanely easy this thing is to put together.

Here's a look at my new paper pack, Hearts Patterns.  A little intense.  A little playful and a touch dramatic.  Sound familiar?

Hearts Patterns

Farmhouse Valentine from Clever Monkey Graphics matched perfectly and it is such a cute collection.

Speaking of Clever Monkey Graphics.  Tracey has a new kit out this week.  I scrapped it up with an upcoming template idea I'm putting in Plus next week.  Can ya guess the theme?

Nothing like a little bevel and some great shadows to lift your page.

Here's last week's freebie.

Here's your free template, hoppers.  Thanks so much for stopping by The Cherry.  Feel free and scroll back through hundreds, that's right!  Hundreds of freebies on the blog. This blog has been around for nearly 10 years and I try to leave my freebies for as long as I can.  So enjoy and come on back for more inspiration.

I was super late with my page and I'm the last stop.  Pop over to our group to show off your work and get a list for more stops if you need.

I apologize for leaving such a simple template.  I think it is super versatile.  Shrink it down and make a super cute frame if you like.  It'll also make a wonderful card.  It's my birthday next week.  The big 50!  We all had Covid back in November and though my symptoms were not bad at all, it sucked away all of my strength and stamina and now I've got some other illness.  To think I wasn't sick for years! I'm super pooped!  Thanks for putting up with all of my crap!  Hehehe...

I hope you stay healthy and that you'll join our group for more scrap-a-licious shenanigans.

New Digital Scrapbooking Products, Super Fun Scrapbook Page Layouts and a Freebie

Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

My apologies for not being great at keeping up.  I spend so much time designing that I just can't wait to get my butt of my chair and move.  Hehehe...I'm sure you know exactly what I mean.

I'm having an absolute blast designing for Plus at Design Bundles.  I've been getting at least three templates in the shop every week along with nearly a dozen other fun, new and inspiring scrapbook designs and lately even educational resources.  Keep on reading to find out more about that.

I had so much fun designing this Travel Collection.  There are 8 packs that coordinate with it.  You can see them all in this preview.  Just type in Travel Collection in the search at Plus in Design Bundles and they should pop up for ya.

You can do so much with this collection.  Beautify your planners, agendas, scrapbook, make cards, invitations and tags...

The word art make scrapbooking really fast and simple.

Printable sticker sheets will bring these digital designs off of the screen and on to your physical pages.  Now, that is super scrap-a-licious fun!

Using journal or pocket cards for scrapbooks is a fantastic idea!  If time is of the essence or your scrappy skills are lacking, this is a format of scrapbooking that might appeal to you.

Just look at all of these lovely colors.  They are so bright and inspiring.  Your travel photos are going to look terrific with them.

There are a lot of printable sheets in this collection.  Including these awesome planner printables.

Go big with your elements, keep it simple and scrap quickly and beautifully.

Quick pages or ready made scrapbook pages are ideal if you've not got the time or energy to scrapbook.

Now take a look at all 12, Year In Review templates in Plus.  There is a funky font and a whole heck of a lot of photo spots for all of your monthly memories.  Perhaps you'll choose another year besides 2020 to scrap?!  I certainly don't want to remember any of it!  Hehehe...Type, "Year in Review" at Plus, in the search and these will appear like magic.

Dun!  Dun! Daaah!  Here's an eek-a-licious series I've designed for the Pet Collection featuring one of my favorite pets, cats.  Y'all probably have seen plenty of pictures of our gorgeous kitties.  Show off your kitties in our scrappy group.

I've also designed some basic templates to coordinate with the collection.  That first template just might look super in a light box.  If you do this, by all means, show us the photos!

This is kind of how it might look like...If you've not seen light boxes, head over to Design Bundles and check them out.  There are some absolutely gorgeous ones.  Maybe you'll find a new craft!

Here's a page example with the template and the, I Love My Cat series.

A bit more plain...

and mega changed up!

We've sold so many of these Valentine designs and to think I didn't really even feel like designing them.  Until...I got started.  I had a somewhat limited color palette, which I do often prefer, but ended up having an absolute hoot designing all of this and it is showing in the sales.  Take a look to see the fun I had with this collection.

More fun quick pages!

I've been asked to help out with educational resources and though it has been awhile since I've been before a class, I'm going for it.  I'm doing all kinds of levels and keeping special needs in mind with the designs.  I also give hints, tips and alternative ideas for teaching with the activities in the product descriptions.

As you can see, I'm using attractive, eye catching colors and fun designs that I find in Plus or that I design myself.

I know a lot has changed and I'll tell ya, it is going to keep changing.  Hehehe...I've got so many new and craft-tastic ideas I've yet to design.  My notebooks are bulging!  It is on my agenda to get some glue on my fingers.  I hope you'll join with me that.

If you've got a design idea you'd like to share or see if I can design, hit us up on FB or send an e-mail.  We'd love to hear from you and see what you've been working on.

Here's a new fun freebie!  Give the, I Love My Cat series a try!

Y'all, take good care of yourself.  Keep positive and keep love in your heart.  Make sure you put yourself in other people's shoes and constantly remind yourself about all of the things you are grateful for, both big and small.  It's good for the soul.

Thanks for hanging with The Cherry and happy scrapping!

Dollar Event at Design Bundles, A New Free Scrapbooking Template and Page Inspiration

Welcome crafters, scrapbookers and curious creatives!

Big, big things are happening as you might see by how few blog entries I've been able to eek out.  So, so sorry about that.  I'm designing full time for Design Bundles and it's leaving little time for much else.  Speaking of Design Bundles, they are having their huge Dollar Event for the next few days.

They have 18,000 designs for only ONE DOLLAR?!  Isn't that just insane?!  I already hit up the sale for two rounds.  Most of the designers have their shop on sale as well.  Y'all, Design Bundles is like no other on line store I've ever been involved with.  It's is unbelievably professional and they do it all.  Forums, community pages, the best customer service I've ever experienced, hundreds of talented designers and the shop itself is top of the line.

Save your favorite designs, follow designers, download forever and if you try to buy the same thing twice, you'll see in the preview that you've already purchased or downloaded the product. Even in their bundles!  Isn't that awesome?!

Above, you can see my six items that are only ONE DOLLAR.  Don't forget!  These are Commercial Use items.  Of course, you can use them for Personally Use as well.  I've got a pack of wild, glittery fun animal print papers, a huge bundle of Christmas designs featuring all of the year's hippest trends like messy buns, rainbows, buffalo plaid, gnomes, vintage trucks...15 designs in total and just $1.  I've got planner templates, a huge pack of basic templates and a super versatile mockup with bonus sticker templates.

On top of the dollar deals, the shop is 50% off and there is a brand new pack of templates.

Designing for Plus members at Design Bundles has been an absolute blast.  The team is unbelievably supportive and fun to work with.  I'm designing over a dozen items every single week.  All of the usual suspects like paper packs, journal cards, elements, templates for page layouts, but also grunge edges, brushes, quick pages and layered templates to design your own scrapbooking elements.  Whoo hoo!

The resources are great for both designers, scrapbookers and crafters.

Here's just some of what I've put in to Plus.

Farmhouse Santa Quick Pages and Kit

This little collection is totally farmhouse, country cozy with a splash of vintage and popular yet classic buffalo and other fun plaid patterns.

I'm super proud of my huge Christmas Cookies Collection.  Take a look!

Texture rich, holiday papers.

I LOVE these clusters!  They make scrapbooking insanely fast, easy, festive and fabulous.

If you're a sublimation lover, these word art are definitely for you this Christmas.

I've designed a sweet pack of pocket cards as well as some coordinating recipe cards that included two templates.  I've always wanted to design a gorgeous scrapbook of my family's favorite menu's for my mom.  I want to include pictures, recipes and fun table anecdotes.  That would be such a nice gift, don'cha think?

I know our fans love quick pages and I love designing them.  Plus is full of fabulous ready made scrapbooking page layouts.

If you've been paying close attention, you may have noticed that I used a lot of the same colors in my Christmas designs.  This way you can get dozens of packs and coordinate them for one awesome holiday album.

Next up and definitely worth mentioning, is my Unicorn For All Seasons Collection.  It's hip, bling-a-licious, rainbow inspired and even a little magical.

Find quick pages, journal cards, beautiful word art and more.

If you bought our, "A Reason to Celebrate" goodies, then my new, collection might interest you. I've got Wedding papers, quick pages, journal cards vertical and horizontal and more, in Plus.  There are a total of  TWENTY, really pretty cards!

Just type in Wedding Quick Pages in the search and you'll find all 6 quick pages.  It would look pretty good, with some pages, to put them side by side, duplicate one page (without journaling) and change it horizontally for a different look and a whole new page with just a few clicks.

Your wedding scrapbook album can be made really quickly and easily this way.

Type in "scrapbooking template" and you'll see dozens of templates from me and other Plus designers.  I've been using this color palette for all of the templates so far.  This makes it easy to identify, that they are mine.

Here's my newest pack of templates in my regular shop, Kreative Design Studio at Design Bundles.  They are 50% off throughout the weekend.

Now, on to some more scrapbook page layouts from my Creative Teams I'm on, Clever Monkey Graphics found at the Sweet Shoppe and Art & Life Scraps, now found in the Digital Scrapbooking Studio.

Turkey Traditions is great for more than just Thanksgiving themes since Tracey has generously included dozens of flowers and foliage along with some other off theme elements like wine bottles and wine glasses.

I've used my newest Plus item on this page.  I designed two packs of chalkboards with wooden frames.

All of the pages are linked up to the designer's collections and kits.

Here are my pages with Art & Life Scraps designs from our gal, Cindy.

I used the Smiles template from Plus.  What do you think of my hair cut?

Yes!  I'm still playing the guitar when I can squeeze it in. It's really fun!

If you like bright, fun, unique designs, look no further than Art & Life Scraps.

And last, but not least. I'm still keeping the group afloat thanks to so many scrappy sisters sharing their pages and I did get the November challenge up.  Very late!  hehehe...  Pop over to the group, join in on the fun and follow us from there or our newsletter.

I'm curious if you'd like to receive my weekly releases of what I'm putting in Plus?  I don't want to bog down my subscribers with information, images, etc, if they are not genuinely interested in my designs there.  If enough subscribers are in fact interested, I'd consider putting out a weekly mail with preview images.  Let me know either way?  Thanks!

Here's the ELEVENTH FREE TEMPLATE this year.

Thanks for checking out the blog.  Consider joining our other social platforms, found in the side bar and or joining our mailing list.

Happy scrapping and crafting and by all means, stay healthy and optimistic!
