I figured by being in a digital scrapbooking shop, there would be a lot of work and boy was I right. On top of weekly releases, $2 Dollar Tuesdays, Monthly Buffets, Bake Sales, (those are $1 sales incase you were wondering.) challenges, daily posting at social hot spots like Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook there is also forum and gallery posting, too. Not to forget all of the action in the shop itself. Wow! My head is spinning! Hehehe...I love keeping busy though so we'll continue to motor through and bring you the most awesome scrap-a-liciousness that we can provide.
I've got so much going on this month at the GingerScraps shop. Yes! I got another month extension and I've been really working it in hopes of getting a permanent position. Let me show you all of the fantastic happenings going on this month. You might want to book mark this blog or refer back to it because it's that much. First, what you're seeing above is a little peek at the collaboration between myself and Sandy from Key Lime Digi Design. We've teamed up and designed one heck of a lovely collection for the Daily Download over on the Gingerscraps Blog. Every single day this month, you'll receive a portion of our collaboration and if you carefully keep scrolling I've linked up another coordinating freebie from the Toujours (always) collection. The daily freebies are available for five days which is pretty good if you forget. Maybe you could set up some kind of notification on your phone so you don't miss a beat?
Coordinating ever so slightly with the Daily Download are these templates. I live just a few short hours drive from Paris and I'll tell you, it really is everything they say and more. Paris is absolutely magical and it's also a bit like where you live, too. So our goodies will go with any kind of pictures you want to scrap. There is a hint of things French, but it's mostly just a potpourri of awesome beauty with a vintage touch.
These first couple of pages are mine, using our collaborative menagerie of awesome. Hehehe...You might not even be able to tell that these pictures were taken in Paris. I couldn't find any of the rest! Ahhh!!! I'm so glad I've already scrapped them both traditionally and digitally. Shoo...I'm most unorganized when it comes to my digital stash and I'm super great at losing stuff, too.
What is cool, is this page gives me an example to show you that you really don't have to use pictures of Paris or France with this collection. Keep scrolling to see more.
For my first two templates I knew exactly what I wanted to do. The Eiffel Tower and a bike with a basket. The rest took further thought and perusing the internet. I live in a Medieval village in Germany and I love to take pictures of some the old aspects of it. The craftsmanship that went into the architecture always amazes me. Still standing hundreds of years later speaks volumes and I certainly wish we would do more lasting, craftsmanship with all we do, everyday. Instead we rush through everything, often not even thinking about the impact we are making on ourselves, our finances or the environment.
I love the way Cindy used the mask from this template and her vintage looking shots of Paris and the extraordinary views from the Eiffel Tower. No! I didn't go up! I'm the kind of lady who likes to keep her feet on the ground. Hehehe...
Jarmila and Ngoc have used these templates for totally different kinds of pictures and so can you.
Kiana has join The Cherry and you can see why, right? Wow! Pairing up these templates with Alexis Design Studio, also found at GingerScraps, was a brilliant idea. Just feast your eyes on this beautiful page.
How are you digging this new rainbow hair color trend? Personally, I find it ok to actually look human, but I can also appreciate wanting to spice things up and stand out from the rest. A bit of old meets new in Jarmila's page.
Hilary turned my classic looking template into something amazingly modern, bright and youthful. I just love that about templates. Her page is a perfect example of the versatility of templates and how easy it is to get them to work for you.
