Free Globe Scrapbooking Template and Free Travel Digital Designs

Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

Is time flying or what?! I canNOT believe it is November, but here we are. Only one more template to go this year. Would you like more next year? Convince me! Hehehe... I've got some on tap, but I'm feeling under inspired. Talk me into it? (Insert cheeky emoji of your choice.) To think I was toying with the idea of a template subscription plan? If you like that idea, talk me into it! Hehehe...

Scroll through this blog and get inspired and see some of the stuff you may have missed.

I scrapped with the template and I'm still hoping my team will play or maybe you? Share it in the group and I'll put your page on my blog. Think about it? You'll be published!

This is my friend in Amsterdam on one of our trips. We're getting all set for Norway in the summer. Can you believe it? We are not exactly spring chickens, but we're out there doing it. How about you?

I kept my page super simple and used the Dutchie scrapbooking collection I designed for you. Scrapbook quickly and beautifully with The Cherry.

You can have simplify beautiful pages. If you're designing an entire album you might not have hours and hours for one page. Here's a great idea for quick scrapping. Large photos, large title and one cluster, copy/pasted. Hello? Did ya know it can be this easy and pretty?

Large photos, blow up those ellies, add some matting and you're all scrapped up. It's really crazy easy and all of this stuff is FREE. So, no excuses!

The collection has a bunch of free word art. You'll have to scroll through and find them all.

Below, is the last free template for the year. Shoo! Did ya miss any? No worries! They are all available in one easy download pack in the shop and they are cheaper than a good cup of coffee. If you've been downloading like crazy, how about a little payback with a purchase?

Here are some winter pages from a previous blog with a travel theme.

I've got several blogs on travel. Here's one for Monschau, Germany.

This link will take you to another blog for traveling to Monschau in the winter. Cool, eh?

Here's all of the templates from this year's Big Bundle.

Take a look around the blog or pop in the shop.

Thanks for stopping by The Cherry!

April's Free Template and Scrapbooking Inspiration from The Cherry On Top

Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

I've got your free monthly template along with some scrapbooking inspiration, as usual. Thanks again for coming on back for the free templates. I have been fairly regular at getting freebies up nearly every week. Scroll back and see what ya missed.

This template is no longer free. Grab it in the shop.

Don't forget! I won't be keeping up the links for these free monthly templates for too long. Hurry! Go back to each month and get what ya can.

Let's see some page love with the new template.

Don'cha just love bright on black? Hillary designed such a sweet page. You can just barely tell it's a holiday page. Pop in a fun background, add some glitter and scrap up a few nice clusters, fill in that big ole title and you've scrapped.

It doesn't need to take forever to scrap a beautiful page. Especially when you use templates.

Michal is a star at pulling colors from her pics for her page designs. Don't be afraid to use some of the ellies from the templates. If it works, go for it.

Goodness, gracious! Kait is such a super scrapper. How lucky am I to have all of this talent on the team? These colors are beyond fab. Maybe it's the Florida girl in me that just loves blue and orange. The text is awesome, too. Totally agree!

If you missed some of the earlier templates or ya just can't wait for the later ones to come, support me and my shop, Kreative Design Studio and grab this bundle for only 3.99. I sure would appreciate it.

Since it's the first of April, I'm going to tease you by showing a gorgeous page from Kait that's still yet to come. Isn't it just beautiful?! I love that she used it with a travel theme. What a great idea!

Here's another page from the uber talented, Kait. Again, with a travel theme.

Did ya know I'm blogging about travel combined with scrapbooking pages? Pop over to this blog and check one out. You can always look over in the bar to the right for the titles of all of the blogs to find more or use the search box at the top of the blog.

If templates are your thing, maybe you'd be interested in these cooking templates?

I've linked up the coordinating printables, here below. They are FREE.

I just love Hilary's page with the What's Cook'n templates. Don't you?

I also recently did a blog where I designed more free printables that coordinate if ya want to pop back and grab those?

Here's a look at some freebies you may have missed as well as a link to a blog with my first excerpt from my book, The Walking Stick and the last part of the free, Catalonian Collection. Enjoy!

Did ya know how awesome aloe is? It's mega amazing for your hair. Find out more about aloe, how to grow it and grab the free printable.

This is a sweet, free digital scrapbooking mini for ya. Maybe not my best work and a touch eclectic. At least ya get a little bit of this and that. The papers are quite nice and the gnome is adorable. Go grab it!

We'll see ya next month for the next free template and hopefully a bit in between. Show us what you're scrapping in our group.  Our Pinterest might be your thing. Especially, the freebie board.

Thanks for checking out The Cherry.

Happy scrapping!

Free Digital Scrapbooking Kit, Page Layout Inspiration, a Look at My Book, The Walking Stick and Travel Tips for Catalonia France

Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

Finally! The last installment of the free digital collection, Catalonia or The Walking Stick, named after my book. I've got some lovely page inspiration for ya, too. You'll see an excerpt from the very first page of my book along with its partnering page full of imagery. I've written many books, but none like this one. If you know me, you won't be surprised at my ever present attempts at something new or outside of the box.

Pictured below is your new freebie.

Take a look at the first page and its picturesque partner page.

These are actual photos I took from Serdinya. Just look at that beyond gorgeous, blue sky. All of the homes are constructed with stone. Everything sure does look ancient. From the rustic metal working to the weathered wooden doors and shutters.

Catalonia is a magical place to visit. They put so much pride in to everything to do. Keeping the houses and farms from their ancestors as they were gives Catalonia its mystic charm. It made me think how cost effective and environmentally friendly this concept is.

Catalonia grows a lot of their own food which you can purchase at road side establishments as well as large grocery stores. They have their own dairy suppliers and buying organic, local meat is not at all a problem. As Foodies, we were super impressed at the quality of the local products.

If you missed that last few installments from the Catalonia Collection, you can pop back and grab the other parts. I'm putting a few of the same pages here for inspiration.

Scrapbook layouts don't always have to be time and labor intensive. Above, I placed over half a dozen pictures atop a coordinating color background and added a few simple embellishments. Scrapbooking in minutes can still render a beautiful page.

There I am enjoying an expansive breakfast at an Air BnB we stayed at on our way to Serdinya. I studied my photos of the trip to gather the color palette I needed for the collection. You can see how I did that as we go along. Occasionally, I'll tweak the colors just a bit so that they fit the images, perfectly.

These two pages are from the BnB. Claudia provided an excellent outside space with a huge pool and beautiful garden. She was kind enough to leave us on our own despite that the house is "shared". I usually don't go for that kind of BnB. If you're interested in this place, here's the link.

We had the entire upstairs to ourselves. That's two bedrooms and a bathroom. We only saw Claudia at breakfast. This is a super, nice place to stay and it really isn't all that expensive. We'd definitely visit again if we were in the area.

When we got there, it was around dinner time. We did pass a few restaurants, but from the road we traveled, it didn't look like there was a whole lot to do. Do your research to make sure it provides what you are looking for. I had our dinner packed so we could eat at our lodging which did have a full, beautiful kitchen. We forgot all of the things we put in the refrigerator! Claudia was great about it when we called to warn her. She really is a very nice person to speak with. Her English is spotty to say the least. So brush up on your French.

I really love the page, above. The colors are delicious and reminiscent of the brilliant blue skies and sun in the south of France.

Here are some pages from my team with the free collection.

Visit our freebies board for easy look'n.

Thanks for popping by The Cherry. Take a slow peruse through our blog and find more freebies than you can shake a stick at, travel tips, cooking inspiration and paper craft. Ya know. The little things that make life grand.

Gorgeous Free Digital Scrapbooking Template for February

Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

Whoo hoo! Hello, scrap-a-licious fans! This template is no longer free. You can purchase the bundle of 12 templates for just 3.99. I can't wait to see what you do with it. Scroll through the inspiration and start thinking what kit you're going to use with this template and what pics.

Check out the inspiration!

There's plenty of room for more pictures. Put a small one just behind the title or go for two circle ones behind the camera. I've got them hidden in the template for you.

Michal and Hilary added a whole lot of detail to their background cluster.

I used my free kit and template for the page below. I kept my page a little more simple. I showed this off on a travel blog about Zandvoort in The Netherlands. Keep your eyes out for the free kit and peruse our scrap-a-licious travel blogs.

Here's January's template. The plan is to have your template up and running on the first of every month. So, come on back and grab them each month. I'll be keeping you up to date in the group and via the newsletter. (I never spam your mailbox. I shoot for once a month.)

Warning! I won't be leaving these links up eternally. The twelve templates will be available in a huge bundle in my Design Bundles shop. Grab those links while they are still live.

This is the template for next month. Cool, eh?!

This blog is mega full of free stuff. Seriously, mind boggling freebies. I'm starting to run out of storage for these freebies which goes pretty well with me going through all of the blogs and taking down links for old goodies and updating everything. (It is a huge endeavor which I doubt I'll actually finish. Hehehe...) Scroll through and get the goodies while they are still there.

I'll be back Sunday with another food blog. Did ya miss last week's travel blog? Pop back there and see what awesome freebie I've got for ya!

Thanks a million for popping by the blog. Have a fabulous weekend and happy scrapping.

Free Printable Holiday Step Card, Vintage Book Designs and More Free Chicken Designs from The Cherry On Top

Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

I've got a sweet little mix of goodies, today. Some beautiful, watercolor designs from Chai Eighteen with printable ideas. There's definitely a fall vibe going on. We were in Germany last week where the leaves were turning colors and littering the ground. We've got the wood stove going now as well. It seems fitting with these autumnal designs.

Enjoy the new freebies from the chicken collection, Welcome to the Coop. I also put in a few images of The Cherry's most popular blogs, the top hat tutorial, paper dress template and the shadow puppets. In case you missed these fun, popular paper projects, check them out. It's all free.

I showed off Chai Eighteen's designs, above. I used them to make bookmarks and papers. Visit her shop and get inspired!

Y'all know how much I love purple. This shade went really well with Jo's designs. I created a mini collection of design papers, fall designs and this neat tag.

Here's a look at our three most popular blogs.

I started off a traditional, paper scrapper and I've always been a crazy creative. I love fashion and wanted to design clothes, but man! I can't do any kind of needle work at all. No sewing, crocheting, knitting... I can't believe how terrible I am despite all of the training.

At least I could pull off these projects! Hehehe...Above are just some scraps and a cereal box. People were requesting a tutorial. So, I made a template and a step by step for ya.

You'll find free templates or links to free templates for all three of these projects.

This dress was sew easy! Paper, glue and some fun embellishments and you're set!

There's my cutie 10 years ago. We've been around for quite a while, now.

A fan asked if I'd blog more cards and card templates. You know me! I obliged and created this step card. You'll be able to use it as a template. Just click on the image and download it directly. I've got an envelope for ya, too. Use them both as is or use the designs as templates. I designed them all from scratch.

I've got a nifty tutorial on how to put this baby together. It's really easy. The blog is really, really long and full of holiday inspiration. I know this blog is full of links that are no longer working. I do plan on going through every one (nearly 1,000) and fixing that, though most store links won't work just because the blogs are so old and I only sell at Design Bundles these days.

I used really pretty goodies from Design Bundles for today's freebie. If you follow that tutorial link, there's a free coordinating paper over there. Wink, wink...

Grab the collection from Plus.

So, I played with the printable. If you print out the envelope as is, it will take up most of a standard size A4 or 8x11 inch paper. The center is about 5.5x4 inches. That means, you'll have to make sure the card is the right size so when folded in half, it will fit in the envelope. I did make the card to fit, but the size cold change in your computer when ya print. 8x5 inches will do the trick with a little room to play. Use a more rigid paper and check those printer levels for quality.

This is most of the collection that I'm giving away. Today, I've got the 9th free pack. You may have missed a lot. Scroll back and grab them all. There's only one more pack and I still gotta finish giving you the French collection I started that coordinates with my book. I've finished the first draft and I'm experimenting with the format. It's going to be really fun and unique. I can't wait to share it with you!

Enjoy today's other freebie!

Thanks so much for checking out The Cherry. Feel free to show off your lovely paper or digital creations in our group. I may stop using Facebook. I'd go and grab all of the free stuff you can from the albums. If you've got any ideas of another space where we can share our creations, let me know. I was on Instagram, but it didn't exactly take off and I get motion sickness scrolling there. Hehehe... I still have it and could get it started again if there's enough interest. If you like it, let me know.

Oh! I'm also having issues with Mailchimp. I cannot access my account as of now. I have contacted them and I'm in line, waiting .... Days later. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Have a fantastic weekend and make sure you find time to do the things you love.
