Scrapbook Challenge #19 is a Scrap Lift or Sketch Challenge Join in on the Last Days of Fun

Scrapbookers, we are on the second to last challenge for the month long Scrap-A-Thon. Whooo hooo!

You may do all of these challenges at any time. At your own pace. This challenge is a Scrap Lift. I love lifting pages and do it a lot as you may have seen. I wanted an example that was really interesting.One that might really challenge you, too. I love seeing people's take on a lift. This pretty heart page is from my Substantial template pack. It's one of my most popular template packs to this date. So, ya might want to check it out. In a scrap lift, you take the basic aesthetic of a page and scrap it in your style with your goodies. Even a template can be changed up a lot. The two pages below show you. Templates can certainly be used as a sketch.

You may gladly use a template for the challenge. It doesn't have to be one of mine.  You may also use papers that have hearts in the background. That should save ya some time, right? If you still have any of your FREE Plus credits, I've linked up some items I designed for Plus that you can grab with your 50 free points. ALSO and hugely important for Plus members. Scrapbooking with Mandalas for Recipe Challenge #18 and Page and Craft Inspiration

Welcome back to The Cherry On Top.

Just two more challenges to go after this one. Isn't that exciting? This challenge is a Recipe Challenge. You follow the directions at the bottom of this blog and design your page.

Will help inspire you, set you up with some mandalas if you need those we'll show off some goodies from our shop which we hope you'll visit.

Y'all!  Plus has all kinds of totally awesome mandala designs.  I even saw some beautiful earring designs. I only designed one thing with a mandala for the short time I was at Plus and that was this cuttable style template. Here's another really cool design in Plus. A turtle with a mandala design. Just imagine all the things you can make with it. Sublimation designs for sure, but what else? Journal cards, greeting cards, birthday cards, tags, stickers...Don't let me stop ya!

By now, you know exactly what to do. For this challenge the only requirement is that you follow the directions carefully and that a mandala is the main part of your page design. You can use a stamp or the one from our Very Vintage Collection which you may have gotten at the Speed Scrap. Below, are the directions for the Recipe Challenge.

Recipe Challenge #18 Directions:

#1   Take a mandala design, mandala stamp or a doily and blow it up to the full size of a 12x12 page or document.

#2   Line the mandala to the right so the center of it is cut right in half. Half on the page and half off.

#3   Crop or cut your 1/2 mandala and copy or duplicate it.

#4   With the other half, slide it to the left side of your page so it's just like the one on the right.

#5   Mat a larger, longer photo with at least 3 different colored layers.

#6   Place the photo just to the left of the center.

#7   Mat another, slightly smaller photo with the same 3 layers or the same three colors.

#8   Place the smaller photo just over the right bottom corner of the larger photo.

#9   Give each photo a slight angel in the direction that looks best.

#10 Align a small to medium sized cluster in the middle, bottom of the 2 photos.

#11 Finish to perfection.

Rainbow Challenge for Scrapbook Challenge #17 and Beautiful Page Inspiration

Scrappers, I couldn't wait for this challenge. We've only got three more to go and this one is such a fun challenge. Challenge #17 is the Rainbow Challenge. Your page's main feature is to be a rainbow or rainbow like color palette and or format. You'll see what I mean when I show off some page inspiration.

I've got a lot of templates that will help you along away. You may use any template and any kit you like.

Scrapbooking Challenge #16 is All About You

Welcome to The Cherry's Scrap-A-Thon.

Y'all can jump in this scrapbooking event at any time at all. Go through all 20 of the challenges at your own pace and do it all for yourself, if you like. You may gladly add your pages to the albums in our group and of course, you may show off page inspiration or crafty endeavors in our group any time at all.

The 16th challenge is the All About You Challenge.  All ya have to do is scrap yourself AND hehehe...add some journaling.  Feel free to do more than one page if you like. To be clear.  Your page must have at least one picture of YOU and journaling about you. (I'm nosey!)

I have always been a very active person. I played all kinds of sports and even did some body building in my younger days. I still work out and keep up with cardio health, too.

If you follow The Cherry, you probably know I have two boys. They both have Autism and I started blogging about that a while back. You can find some extremely helpful information there. In the beginning it was a major struggle until we started figuring things out. From everything I learned from this experience we found that FOOD can really change everything. Feel free to share the blog with anyone who is struggling with Autism.

I've got things like alternative ways to tying shoes, LICE, Autism and Pets and my favorite punch ya in the gut kind of blog, What NOT To Tell Parents with Autistic Children. It's full of sass and truth.

Scrapbooking Challenge #15 A Free Template Free One Month Gold Membership at Plus In Design Bundles and Page Inspiration

Welcome to our next challenge, scrappers and crafters.

We are really rolling, now! The 15th challenge out of 20 and a whole bunch of prizes and games in the group have added to the scrap-a-licious fun. Thanks for being a part of it and helping to unlock all of the extra freebies in the group.

Our next challenge is another favorite of mine. It's the Background Challenge. Your assignment is to design a page with a very intricate, detailed background. It canNOT be a design paper.  It has to be several shapes that comprise that background. A template might help with this challenge and I had a super fun idea for one as I was working on it. The template coordinates magically with the Inspiring templates that are in the Kreative Design Studio.
