Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

I've got a few new templates in the shop this week.  They will give your pages an artistic touch with some seriously fun flair.

Keep reading to see page inspiration, check out Aimee Harrison's newest collection, To Blossom, grab the free printable and scroll through our helpful tutorial to get your printable just the way you want it.

 To Be Free

No, you are not going crazy if you think you've seen this page and template before because if you follow us, you have.  This was offered for free in the previous Love For Layout Template train.  It's also why I'm offering a coupon for the Kreative Design Studio this week as well.  Use code: 2BFREE in the shop and you'll get a discount.  (For some reason I was not able to select which item I wanted to discount this time, so everything will get the discount.  Hint, hint...)

Let's look at some more pages from me and my awesome team.

Aimee has a new collection out that's just full of spring time magic.  I used the new templates for two pages that are so differing, you might not believe they come from the same collection.

These are my cherry trees that everyone said won't grow.  Keep that in mind when you're set on an endeavor.  I'm the stubborn type that just has to try anyway.

See what I mean about the moods of To Blossom?  The above and below pages both use it.  I went a bit with a pinky feminine side above and below I used more impact and contrast.  If this template also seems familiar, I offered a free, very similar template years ago.

Can you recognize Tammy's work or her darling photo subject?  She's a great one for the jaw dropping pages.  The goodies are so beautiful and you can find them at the Sweet Shoppe.

Hilary did a really cool, artsy page, too.  The black background is a great backdrop for her goodies from the Urban Fairy.

Kaye has also worked her magic.

Jarmila made a pretty, natural feeling page that is fresh and exciting using BooLand goodies.

Here is a closer look at Aimee's, To Blossom collection.  My first page matches her sassy looking previews so well. The other page shows off the more natural side.  I love collections that offer this kind of versatility.

 Free Printable Card

You can do so many things with today's new freebie.  Consider making a pretty poster for your house or use it as a wall paper for your phone or computer.  You could use it on a page with the rest of Aimee's collection.  You could also use it as intended and give it to someone special.  I thought this sentiment was really lovely.

Let me show you a few ways to go hybrid with this.

You can open up a new document and size and place the card, just how you will want it to print.  Look closely at how I juxtaposition the card on my blank page.  When I print it, I'll be able to fold it in half and just cut to perfection on the right side and bottom.  I also sized it for easy sending via snail mail.

Another option is to position your card so that it open left to right rather than top to bottom.

You could simply resize the card to your desire and print on rigid paper. It doesn't have to open at all.  You could just write on the back.

Here's how to do that in PSE:

click on the image prompt as shown, click resize, choose image size

enter your desired size (consider your envelope) If you need an envelope, we've got a free template and a tutorial.

Print out on good paper.  Glossy or slightly glossy paper often gives the best results.  If you've got a template to make envelopes, you can use Aimee's coordinating papers and customize.  I LOVE that!

Aimee's collections make THE best hybrids.  I've got two other tutorials using her cluster frames packs and her borders.  I made these with a magnetic back for on my mom's fridge (coordinated to match her kitchen) since she lives an ocean away from the boys.  Find out how I did it by clicking on the image.

You can make gorgeous book marks using Aimee's border backs and they scrap up incredibly fast, too.  Find out how by clicking on this image.  These will be so fun to give out at the book club.

Happy scrapping!
