Fashion Inspired Digital Scrapbooking Templates, Page Inspiration and Freebies

Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

Here we are, again with more new templates, beautiful page inspiration and a couple of links to some great freebies from us and other designers.

I literally went from flip flops, shorts and tank top to jeans and a sweater in the same day. My goodness! It might be the same with you as well. Such is this time of year and all of the crazy things that go with it. I used to want to be a clothing designer and I'm still very drawn to clothes, but lately all ya can buy is junk. Even when you think you are spending a lot of money and going with name brands, it's still very poor quality and will need to be replaced much sooner than they used to.

I figure I'll design good quality clothes in my templates. Like fashion templates, you can add texture, colors, papers, effects and actions and make my clothes, yours. I'll tell ya, there is an alternate template for the last one. It features women's clothes in place of the baby clothes.

Cindy has yet again, outdone herself with her page. How absolutely fabulous?! I would totally wear the outfit and what a brilliant idea to give her an earring. I bet you're going to do the same thing.

Artistic Minimalist Digital Scrapbooking Page Templates and a New Freebie

Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

Holy wow! There is so much going on in the world. My heart goes out to all of those struggling. Natural disasters abound and adding this nasty virus on top of it all can really put one over the top. I recommend you take a deep cleansing breath, sit back, forget about all of the troubles and enjoy today's scrappiness.

First, a great hug of appreciation to all of you who took advantage of the sale at GingerScraps. You helped make our new Flamazing collection one of the shop's best sellers. Whoo hoo! I've got more pages with it from your fellow scrappy sisters and other awesome templates and kits, too. There are a month of challenges in our group and another freebie from Art & Life Scraps.

Today's new templates are great for you white space lovers. You'll be able to scrap fast and beautifully. Keep it super clean and simple or go crazy. We'll show you some ideas that'll make ya want to scrap, ASAP.

Let's start off with lovely and talented designer, Ngoc from Heart Made Scrapbooks. She's designed this lovely page with the new goodies. There is definitely an artistic flair and a sweet, soft touch. An awesome background might be all you need. If you need more, we've got plenty of paint and edges in this pack. Mix them up if ya need to get just the right look.

I got some extra help from my friend Ruth. She scrapped a beautiful page with a fall feel.

I certainly like a more artistic touch with these. Especially, if you are going to use a lot of the artistic elements like the stamps, edges and paint. Just a few ellies and you've scrapped! Great job from Jillian.

Don'cha just love the template twist on Felicity's page? Great color coordinating with the kit and the pictures, too. Has a bit of a crafty feel with that background and the stitched hearts.

New from JoCee Designs

Y'all! I'll tell ya. My gal Celine jumped in to help me out with pages and I was mega impressed with her page. Her clusters are so darn pretty and I like the colors, too. Come to find out it's our BoHo Chic kit. Hehehe...I didn't even recognize it at first!

What I noticed some people do is add shadows to stamps, paint and what I might deem as anchoring elements. Personally, I only shadow them if they are thicker, like a paint blob or dimensional scatter. Maybe I take it all too literal and there are NO rules in art. Just something for you to consider. Shadowing is a powerful way to make elements pop out.

Here are a few new pages with our Flamazing collection. I'm leaving it on sale at 50% off for the entire weekend in case you missed out. We worked so long and hard on our papers.

We've both added a lot of thought to our papers including the solids. I loaded up on luxurious textures, layer upon layer and I added a touch of color through texture on all of the solids too. This will lend a very luxurious feel to the entire collection.

We'll start off with my pages, as usual. This paper is my all time favorite from my pack. I'm really getting into designing Digital papers. It's so fun! There is just no limits and so many options. I took a picture of my friend and simply traced over most it. Then I hand colored everything, each in a different layer. Obviously, it took me hours, but the result is fairly fabulous.

I've produced a sweet video for you. I thought some people might have a difficult time with what to do with some of our large design papers like this one and a few others. I also show off all of the featured, unique elements so you can get a really good look at most of what's in this collection.

If time is of the essence and a big reason you don't scrap, you totally need to check out the video. I give a lot of time saving tips. Take the page below. It didn't take long at all to scrap. Just the beautiful graphic from Cindy, an edge from my stash where I clipped over a pretty paper and slapped in a couple of ellies in each corner.

This collection has SO much in it, that it totally helps you scrap faster. You'll find it all here and won't have to go through your other stuff. We offer so many elements in so many colors, you'll be thinking, "Cool! That is exactly what I needed."

I took Cindy's huge scatter, copied it a dozen times, placed it around the background, added a few papers to the background and played with the opacity for a bit more interest, slid in the word art, added a stroke, added a very few extra elements and then my gals. All finished in about 17 minutes.

Above is another example of how to use the large design paper and scrap at lightening speeds.

Ella made a fabulous Project life style page and included a lot of the collection, too. What a great collection to show off sassy gals and ladies.

You can totally go whimsical, artistic or traditional. Below, is another page from Felicity using the templates.

You can keep your pages simple using the templates as well. Michal did exactly that, below.

I thought the dark side to this page was a great example showing off the versatility of color and contrast in the bundle. Roxana did a really great page. Let your eyes slowly take it all in and you'll get a great idea at just how many goodies you're going to get in Flamazing.

Keep it clean and neat like Sylvia did or add all kinds of paint and ellies as Theresa did for the next page.

The last few pages are all examples using the templates and they are really fantastic.

Of course you can scrap the templates with other kits and collections. Felicity's page is just gorgeous. She did you a mix of kits and the result is really stunning.
