Amethyst Allegory Scrapbooking Kit and Freebie Friday

Welcome to The Cherry On Top.

Still struggling to get through this sick funk, I'm bringing you a blog packed full of scrappy goodness. Check out our newest scrapbooking kit that coordinates with our free monthly calendar. Pages and pages of gorgeous inspiration. A new, fabulous collection from the Digital Scrapbooking Studio, Follow Your Heart. A new outrageously cool collection from Paty Greif and of course some pretty awesome free scrapbooking stuff.

These are so my kind of colours. I'm a February baby and I am all about the purple. I just love aubergine, too and I used plenty of it in my newest monthly calendar collection, Amethyst Allegory. Tell your story of love, romance, friendship, serenity or peace and nature with our new goodies.

The 66 elements are sold separately from the 14 papers. Use them for scrapbooking, card making or any kind of paper project you might endeavour as well. This kit would make gorgeous cards, bunting, book markers...

I mentioned that the Studio has a new, fabulous collection, Follow Your Heart. I got to work with three different designer's version of it. Check them out.

This is Kim Cameron's. My little guy loves music. We bought him a ukulele and he was pleased with it. Hehehe...He played it for hours!

With very much pleasure, I had a special scrappy experience getting to work with Manu Scraps's collection, too! I went with a totally different style. That's me over 20 years ago, obviously! Hehehe...

I find our village in Germany the best for taking pics. There are so many gorgeous things to shoot. As always, I've linked up the goodies in the images. By clicking on any of the images, you should get to the goodies.

Aimee also contributed and I used my Heartful templates with it. My boys!

Aimee also has Early Bloom available this week. I used it and my You Lift Me Up templates.

Paty Greif is back in action with another fabulous collection, My Buddy Dino. I've got the perfect pics for this one, though the kit would be great for adventurous and outdoor pics, too.

I used my templates, More Project Simple for both of my pages. It's so easy to customise your look. Just seconds and my basic layout was ready to clip.

JJ loves his Dino and since he took it with him everywhere he went of course, lost it. :( I tried warning him, but it was just too hard letting Dino go. Thank goodness I was smart enough to buy two!

I thought I'd show off a couple of ways you can use Paty's free quick page designed by yours truly. Like I did above or even more simply, one huge pic in the background.

Free Printable Card of Celebration From The Cherry On Top and Kim Cameron Designs

Welcome to The Cherry On Top's, Hybrid Saturday.

We mix it all up on Saturdays. Scrap digital and print or scrap digital, print and scrap traditional or hybrid. Isn't that so cool?! I think it's a fabulous mix of the two. You have a lot less mess and you need hardly any materials so no storage problems. Seriously, you might need a nice paper cutter, paper (of course) a printer, scissors and some adhesive. Sure you can get one of those fancy cutting machines like Cricut to make your project move faster and neater, but if you're not bad at fussy cut'n, then you don't even need one of those.

I always try to make my printables as useful as possible for the most amount of readers. Hehehe...I keep my wording a bit on the generic side so you can use these freebies more often. This card is 6x6 inches.

I used my new scrapbooking kit, Pretty As A Peacock to make your free card as well as Kim Cameron's commercial use goodies. I've got them featured a bit further down. I'll explain the process and show you how awesome it is using all kinds of different digital mediums to make beautiful goodies.

Notice some of these templates? I use them in my templates and you can use them for your personal use as well. Why not? They are priced to sell and are amazingly versatile! Start thinking about all of the different ways you can use these goodies from Kim.

Think outside of New Year. What else could you use these for? Carnival, birthday, celebration, party...

See how I used them to make that last template? Sweet, right? Use the goodies as representative pieces for template making or layer them up like I did with the bottle for this template so your clients or yourself can customise.

I just LOVE Kim's page template maker greenery and flowers. If you are a repeat buyer of my templates, you'll know these leaves well. Hehehe...They are meant to use as representative pieces meaning, you should replace these with your own greenery from a digital scrap kit.

Aren't the flowers just great? Perfect for template making, but think also of the beautiful flowers you could make with these templates. Insert your own papers, textures, glitter, gems....Go nuts!

Welcome to a special edition of The Cherry On Top.

I'm getting back from the summer mode and the summer house and planning on going back to blogging three times a week. I'm back to two this week, at least and I have a special blog already planned for Traditional Tuesday as well with another free template and a scrapbooking challenge, too.

Today, I've got so much to show off, I figured I'd get another blog going. Ya know, I just always change things up and so can you. That's the beauty of digital templates. They are so easy to change around and customise to your needs.

I loved the background and left it as is. I just changed up the clusters ever so slightly and added a nice big frame and a totally different photo spot.

I can't get enough of purple and that's a good thing because I had to work with a lot of it this week. Kim Cameron's kit is no exception and it is still really lovely, too. What drama!

Autumn Plum

I've used my Hip 2B Square templates for this page, too. It took a bit of playing before I could find just the right photos for in the spots. Especially, for this particular template. You could use one large photo as well or use papers in place of the photos and put photos over the top of that, if you like.
